Joyce Kabura

Ms. Joyce Kabura is an accomplished financial service professional with over 16 years of working experience within Africa, largely in the Insurance field. Joyce is reputed for having delivered financial product distribution models that have enabled access to financial services for the economically active poor in 12 countries in Africa while working for VisionFund International. These countries are Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mali, Senegal, Zambia, Malawi, Ghana, South Sudan, and The Democratic Republic of Congo.

Prior to joining the bank, Joyce worked for VisionFund International- the Microfinance arm of World Vision as Regional Insurance Lead- Africa. Kenya women Microfinance as an Insurance manager and Jubilee insurance as a bancassurance officer.

Ms. Kabura holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Sciences (Life and Pensions) as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics (Statistics and Computing). Further to this, she is a qualified COP in General Insurance and a qualified Investment and Security Analyst (KASNEB).
