Nancy Gitau

Nancy Waithera Gitau is an accomplished legal professional with over a decade of experience in corporate law, commercial transactions, real estate, regulatory compliance, and governance. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Public Secretary, with a proven track record in both the aviation and financial services sectors.

Ms. Gitau  currently serves as a Manager at Rotorjet Aviation Company Limited, where she oversees legal, regulatory, and operational matters vital to the company’s growth and continued compliance in the highly regulated aviation industry.

In addition to her executive role, Ms. Gitau is a Non-Executive Director at Sidian Bank Limited and Director at Sidian Bancassurance Intermediary Limited. In this capacity, she plays a key role in board governance, risk oversight, and strategic direction, leveraging her legal acumen and sectoral experience to provide balanced and impactful leadership at board level.

Previously, Ms. Gitau was a Partner at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews, one of Kenya’s leading law firms. There, she advised local and international clients on complex legal matters involving high-value corporate and real estate transactions, financial regulation, and cross-sector projects in banking, energy, technology, and infrastructure.

Ms. Gitau  holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Institute of Certified Secretaries.
